CommonSpirit annual revenue broken down by division

Chicago-based CommonSpirit posted an operating loss of $1.4 billion for the fiscal year ending June 30 compared to a $1.3 billion loss the previous year as increasing costs and labor challenges continued to affect its bottom line. 

Investment gains helped mitigate the overall loss, with the 143-hospital system posting a net loss of $259 million compared to a $1.8 billion loss in fiscal year 2022. Expenses increased 2 percent year over year to $35.9 billion while revenue rose 1.8 percent to $34.5 billion

Here is CommonSpirit's operating revenue broken down by division for the fiscal year:

1. Southern California: $6.9 billion

2. Northern California: $5.5 billion

3. Pacific Northwest: $4.5 billion

4. Southwest: $4.4 billion

5. Southeast: $3.8 billion

6. Midwest: $3.1 billion

7. Colorado: $3.1 billion

8. Texas: $2.7 billion

9. Iowa: $119 million

10, National business lines: $353 million

11. Other: $3 million
