Colorado Plains Medical Center begins $3.6M birthing center renovation

 

Colorado Plains Medical Center in Fort Morgan began a $3.6 million renovation of the Paul E. Woodward Birthing Center, according to a Fort Morgan Times report.

The project is the result of collaboration with the Fort Morgan Community Hospital Association, Fort Morgan Community Hospital Foundation, Williams Family Foundation and Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Hospitals.

The renovated center will include a C-section suite as well as renovated hallways, a larger nurse's station and remodeled post-partum rooms. The project is slated to be completed by January 2015.
