CMS has awarded Fargo, N.D.-based Noridian Healthcare Solutions a contract worth $313.5 million to provide health insurance benefit administration services, including Medicare claims processing.
Under the contract, which has one base year plus six one-year options, Noridian will work as the Medicare administrative contractor for 10 states: Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
CMS began soliciting proposals for the contract in March 2017.
