CHOP to Build New Office Building

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia has received the final land approval to construct a two-story medical office building in Concordville, Penn., according to an article in the Delaware County News Network website.

The work will begin with a 44,000-square-foot building and associated parking, followed by a 56,000-square-foot expansion and parking. Currently the project has been put out to bid and has no date to begin construction, according to the article.

The specialty care center will offer a range of diagnostic testing, treatment, follow-up and rehabilitation services, in addition to an ambulatory surgery center in which minor procedures will be completed.
