Children's Hospital of LA to rename inpatient floor after donation from Panda Express

The Children's Hospital of Los Angeles received a $10 million pledge from Panda Express to maintain services at the Marion and John E. Anderson Pavilion, which opened in 2011.

The sixth floor of the hospital will be named The Panda Express Floor to honor the restaurant's contribution to the hospital.

In addition to the $10 million commitment, the popular American-Chinese restaurant will fund activity booklets that will be used in the emergency department to provide a distraction for children.

"Panda Express has been an incredibly motivated, hands-on community partner to CHLA and we are honored by their continued commitment to help us provide world-class medical care to our pediatric patients," Paul Vivino, president and CEO of CHLA, said.
