CFO Charles Ribbe: Running the gamut of healthcare financial leadership roles in Phoenix

Charles (Chuck) Ribbe, CPA, is the CFO of the Cancer Treatment Centers of America at the Phoenix-based Western Regional Medical Center.

With more than 20 years of CFO or controller experience in hospital and physician practice operations, his expertise in start-up operations and accounting system implementation led him to CTCA as the vice president of finance.

Mr. Ribbe has worked for several other major medical institutions in the area during the past 30 years including at Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital in Mesa, Premier Hospice & Palliative Care in Phoenix, Phoenix Children's Hospital and Foundation and Mountain Park Health Center in Phoenix. He actually began his financial career at Phoenix Memorial Hospital, where he held roles as staff accountant, cost accountant and internal auditor.

Mr. Ribbe is currently a member of numerous organizations including the Healthcare Financial Management Association, American College of Healthcare Executives, Arizona Society of CPAs, American Institute of CPAs and Financial Executives International. He has served on several boards of directors including the Valley of the Sun YMCA, United Food Bank, South Mountain YMCA and the Financial Officers Group of the Arizona Association of Community Health Centers.
