Carol S. Crews, CPA, has served as senior vice president and CFO of Carrollton, Ga.-based Tanner Health System since January.
Ms. Crews originally joined Tanner Health System in 1991 as a staff accountant. She worked her way up through the ranks as senior accountant, controller, vice president of finance and, most recently, senior vice president and CFO.
As CFO of Tanner, Ms. Crews oversees all business-related activity for the system, including budgets, audits and governmental filings. Her areas of responsibility include accounting, patient financial services, patient registration and scheduling, materials management and more.
Ms. Crews is a member of the West Georgia chapter of the Georgia Society of CPAs, the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Georgia Hospital Association. She is also an active member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Carrollton.
