Brian D. Kleven serves as CFO of Alvarado Hospital Medical Center in San Diego, managing all financial departments and producing all financial statements for the medical center.
Mr. Kleven's goal is to help Alvarado Hospital grow financially and to serve the community as a top hospital. In 2014, Alvarado Hospital was indeed a top hospital, according to Healthgrades, which ranked the hospital among the top 5 percent in the nation for clinical excellence.
Before joining Alvarado Hospital in 2007, Mr. Kleven served as the controller at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, Calif. for one year and USC Norris Cancer Hospital in Los Angeles for two years.
Mr. Kleven is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
