Centennial, Colo.-based Centura Health broke ground on an expansion to its St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, the health system said Dec. 19.
The project includes a new five-story, 133,000-square-foot building housing a cancer center with radiation oncology, medical oncology and an infusion center, Centura said. The plans also call for a 26-bed ICU, a 30-bed surgical unit and an additional 60 medical surgical beds.
Upon completion, Centura will have boosted St. Anthony North Hospital's bed count to 237, the system said. The project's first phase is set for a fall 2024 finish.
