Carolinas HealthCare System SouthPark in Charlotte, N.C., has completed the construction of a $17.5 million freestanding emergency department.
The one-story, 30,000-square-foot ED includes 14 treatment rooms, two observation rooms, laboratories and a pharmacy, and is a 24-hour ED.
