Career Step, an online provider of career-focused education and corporate training, and Peak Health Solutions, a provider of mid-revenue cycle solutions, have come together to expand their education and service offerings for healthcare.
Here are three things to know about the partnership.
1. The partnership will use Career Step's three-step education approach — Evaluate, Educate, Expand — as well as Peak's expertise in health information services for medical coding, auditing and compliance, according to a news release.
2. Both parties said the partnership will allow healthcare organizations to build new skill sets within their teams and provide additional career paths for staff members.
3. Career Step Vice President of Corporate Training Laurie McBrierty and Peak Health Solutions Vice President of Health Information Management Operations Mary S. Bessinger will co-host an informational webinar April 12 on how DRG shifts are affecting case mix index. More information on the webinar is available here.
