Capital Regional Medical Center prepares to open behavioral health center

Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee, Fla., has set an open date of April 15 for its new, $4 million behavioral health center, according to a report from the Tallahassee Democrat.

Construction on the 14,000-square-foot center, which will be staffed by 47 caregivers experienced in treating various psychiatric disorders for adult patients, began in the fall of 2014.

Once the project is complete, 24 additional beds will have been added to the center on the seventh floors of the CRMC main building.
