San Francisco-based Pacific Inpatient Medical Group, a 100-plus physician organization on seven Sutter Health campuses in northern California, implemented MD Coder 10 Charge Capture Solution software from Medical Design Technologies.
Here are three things to know.
1. PIMG completed adoption of MD Coder across the entire organization Jan. 1.
2. The software replaced the medical group's previous charge capture vendor, MD Tech officials said in a news release.
3. The solution interfaced into PIMG's Epic platform, which is used by Sutter's California Pacific Medical Center Davies Campus in San Francisco, Santa Rosa (Calif.) Regional Hospital, Novato (Calif.) Community Hospital, and various other campuses. The medical group also integrated MD Coder into its practice management billing system.
