California hospital resumes services following wildfire

St. HelenaHospitalClearLake (Calif.) will resume patient care services Wednesday after a nearby wildfire forced the facility to evacuate and shut down Sunday afternoon, reports Lake County News.

A fast-moving wildfire in the area forced St. Helena to cease patient care services for 64 hours during the evacuation process, hospital spokeswoman Cambria Wheeler told Lake County News. At least 15 patients were evacuated to SutterLakesideHospital in Lakeport (Calif.).

St. Helena did not sustain damages in the fire and expects to offer a full range of services Wednesday, according to the article.
