Santa Maria, Calif.-based Marian Regional Medical Center has received $1 million from an anonymous donor, NoozHawk reported Oct. 27.
The funding will go toward new equipment for the hospital's heart center, nursing department, surgical services and neonatal intensive care unit.
The hospital has already purchased an advanced cardiac ultrasound machine that will be used for electrophysiology procedures with the donation.
