Baptist Health South Florida revenue cycle employees to transition to new joint venture with Navigant

Miami-based Baptist Health South Florida will transition 588 employees to a new, jointly owned revenue cycle management venture — Health System Solutions, according to a South Florida Business Journal report.

Baptist Health South Florida and Navigant revealed the creation of Health System Solutions in April. The venture is designed to offer revenue cycle service to healthcare organizations, beginning with Baptist Health South Florida.

Current Baptist Health South Florida employees in the system's RCM department are slated to transition to the new company beginning July 9 and have been notified, health system spokesperson Georgi Pipkin told Becker's Hospital Review via email.

"Health System Solutions will immediately offer employment to these employees, and they will not need to apply for the position at Health System Solutions. Since employees were initially notified in early April, our HR team has been working with them in their transition to the new company," Ms. Pipkin said.
