Artificial Medical Intelligence, a major player in the computer-assisted coding market, has a new coding and reimbursement software.
Here are five things to know about the software.
1. Healthcare organizations may purchase this software, EMscibe Encoder, independently or as part of a full integration with the EMscribe CAC solution.
2. The new EMscribe Encoder offers access and analysis to DRG and APC reimbursement data.
3. EMscribe Encoder allows users to reference and search for all the codes and terms that support the final steps before billing, AMI said.
4. The new software is unique from other encoders currently in the market in that it is the only encoding solution that provides a direct medical record view and workflow administrative functionality within the application, according to AMI.
5. AMI will showcase its new coding and reimbursement solution at the HIMSS 2016 Annual Meeting and Exhibition.
