Boardman, Ohio-based Akron Children's Hospital Mahoning Valley is spending nearly $2 million on a construction and renovation project, according to a WFMJ report.
The project includes creating a special care nursery with 15 private rooms and private bathrooms. It also includes renovating space to add six new pediatric rooms in the hospital, according to the report.
