The American Hospital Association has extended to Friday, July 20 the deadline for hospitals to participate in a quarterly survey on Medicare's Recovery Audit Contractor program, according to an AHA News Now report.
The web-based survey measures the impact on hospitals of Medicare's RAC program. Findings from the survey will be used to educate hospitals on the program's vulnerabilities and help AHA advocate for needed changes to the program, according to the report.
