Revenue cycle services company Advantum Health acquired Med Advantage, a provider enrollment and credentialing verification organization, March 6.
The acquisition allows Orlando, Fla.-based Med Advantage access to Advantum Health resources and Advantum Health access to Med Advantage's proprietary technology, according to both parties.
Advantum Health CEO Venkat Sharma said the acquisition "expands not only its comprehensive revenue cycle services to additional providers, but also expands new offerings to healthcare organizations and large provider groups needing the assistance and security offered by the MedAdvantage team and their evolving database."
