The hospitals and health systems receiving credit downgrades included the following:
- Brooks Health System (Jacksonville, Fla.) — from "A" to "A-" (Fitch)
- Covenant Health Systems (Tewksbury, Mass.) — from "A" to "A-" (S&P)
- Dickinson County Healthcare System (Iron Mountain, Mich.) — from "BB-" to "B" (Fitch)
- National Jewish Health (Denver) — from "BBB-" to "BB+" (S&P)
- North Oaks Health System (Hammond, La.) — from "BBB" to "BBB-" (S&P)
- Reading Health System (West Reading, Pa.) — from "AA" to "AA-" (S&P)
- Southeast Missouri Hospital Association (Cape Girardeau) — from "BBB" to "BBB-" (Fitch)
- Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center (Miss.) — from "BBB-" to "BB" (S&P)
Six more hospitals and health systems garnered a credit upgrade in the past month:
- Boca Raton (Fla.) Regional Hospital Corp. — from "BBB-" to "BBB" (S&P)
- Children's Medical Center of Dallas — from "Aa3" to "Aa2" (Moody's)
- Nanticoke Memorial Hospital (Seaford, Del.) — from "BB+" to "BBB-" (S&P)
- Presbyterian Healthcare Services (Albuquerque, N.M.) — from "AA-" to "AA" (Fitch)
- St. John's Medical Center (Jackson, Wyo.) — from "BBB" to "BBB+" (S&P)
- Stanly Health Services (Albemarle, N.C.) — from "A-" to "A" (Fitch)
