74 RCM service expansions so far in 2018

Here are 74 revenue cycle management service expansions involving healthcare vendors and providers implemented or announced this year:

1. Landmark Hospitals, a Naples, Fla.-based system of critical care facilities, chose HCS Interactant as its RCM and financial platform.

2. Recondo Technology, a Denver-based RCM solutions company, plans to put a greater focus on its automated solutions with advanced machine learning and other artificial intelligence capabilities.

3. Aquina Health launched Curae to provide non-recourse-based financing for patients.

4. Vituity, an integrated, multispecialty partnership of physicians, advanced providers and healthcare professionals, will open an office in Leawood, Kan., to offer billing and administrative services to providers.

5. Aquiline Capital Partners acquired revenue cycle management company Aspirion Health Resources.

6. An unnamed large West Coast-based academic hospital revealed plans to deploy eValuator automated pre-bill coding analysis technology from Streamline Health Solutions.

7. GeBBS Healthcare Solutions revealed plans to open its second delivery center in Manila, Philippines.

8. Methodist Health System in Dallas chose VisitPay's cloud-based patient financial experience platform.

9. TransUnion agreed to purchase Healthcare Payment Specialists, a healthcare advisory service focused on Medicare reimbursement.

10. AccessOne completed its acquisition of patient financial services provider HealthFirst Financial.
