Seven hospitals and health systems received a credit downgrade during the past month, according to a report from HFA Partners.
The hospitals and health systems receiving credit downgrades included the following:
- Catholic Health Initiatives (Englewood, Colo.) — from A1 to A2 (Moody's)
- East Liverpool (Ohio) City Hospital — from Ba3 to B2 (Moody's)
- Einstein Healthcare (Philadelphia) — from BBB+ to BBB (Fitch)
- Fisher-Titus Medical Hospital (Norwalk, Ohio) — from A to A- (S&P)
- Nash Health Care System (Rocky Mount, N.C.) — from A to A- (S&P)
- Parrish Medical Center (Titusville, Fla.) — from A- to BBB+ (Fitch)
- Southcoast Health System (Fall River, Mass.) — from A2 to A3 (Moody's)
