Note: This is not an exhaustive list. Health systems were compiled from credit rating reports
1. Moody's upgraded Cincinnati-based Bon Secours Mercy Health's outlook to positive from stable. The revision reflects the system's operating improvement at a faster pace than previously anticipated, Moody's said. Bon Secours has an "A2" rating with Moody's.
2. Moody's upgraded Cincinnati-based Christ Hospital Health Network's outlook to positive from stable. The raised outlook reflects that the system will continue on a path of measured operating performance improvement and that liquidity will grow given manageable capital needs and continuing strategic support from the Elizabeth Gamble Deaconess Home Association, Moody's said. Christ Hospital has an "A3" rating with Moody's.
3. Moody's upgraded Doylestown (Pa.) Hospital's outlook to positive from stable. The revision reflects Moody's view that Doylestown's financial improvement plans will continue to drive sustainable stronger cash flow. Doylestown has a "B2" rating with Moody's.
4. Moody's upgraded Zanesville, Ohio-based Genesis HealthCare System's outlook to positive from stable. The revision is driven by the system's continued performance improvement that will likely support lower leverage, the ratings agency said. Genesis has a "Ba2" rating with Moody's.
5. Fitch upgraded Greenbrae, Calif.-based MarinHealth Medical Center's outlook to positive from stable. The raised outlook reflects Fitch's opinion that MarinHealth should continue to make additional progress over the next 12 to 24 months in improving efficiency and other operational measures that are expected to support enhanced operational performance.
