Here are four revenue cycle management service expansions involving healthcare vendors and providers implemented or announced in August:
1. THA Solutions Group, a Tennessee Hospital Association subsidiary, chose healthcare technology firm Xsolis as a partner to bring predictive analytics for case management and utilization review to its hospitals.
2. Pikeville (Ky.) Medical Center, a 300-bed facility, renewed its contract with healthcare IT company MTBC for at least another year.
3. Hunt Regional Healthcare in Greenville, Texas, will use a cloud-based coding analysis platform from Streamline Health Solutions to improve coding accuracy before billing.
4. Acurity, a group purchasing organization, agreed to provide its members with ezDI's clinical document improvement, computer-assisted coding and coding audit solutions.
