$4.6M women's center at WellStar Cobb Hospital to be completed in January

The $4.6 million renovation to the women's center at WellStar Cobb Hospital in Austell, Ga., is scheduled to be completed by the end of January, according to The Marietta Daily Journal.

The renovated women's center — which offers gynecological and prenatal care for younger women and bone density testing for older women — will include new bathrooms, tile, flooring and decorations within the 70 patient rooms used for labor, delivery and recuperation.

WellStar Cobb Hospital President Kem Mullins told The Marietta Daily Journal that the design will create a better environment for the hospital patients.
