Experian Health, a provider of comprehensive revenue cycle products and services, unveiled its patient schedule solution.
Here are three things to know.
1. The solution, powered by MyHealthDirect and part of Experian Health's self-service offering, aims to help healthcare organizations improve efficiency with active patient self-service appointment scheduling, according to a news release. The solution offers real-time integration with the healthcare organization's practice management software or EMR.
2. The online scheduling solution not only allows healthcare organizations to facilitate self-serve patient scheduling, but also to gain information on capacity issues, according to Experian Health.
3. "In today's environment, patients expect on-the-spot scheduling and organizations want a comprehensive solution to coordinate care from start to finish," said Jennifer Schulz, group president of Experian Health, in the release. "Patient schedule empowers patients, providers and physician groups to work closely together to improve patient outcomes. It also gives healthcare providers valuable insight into patient flow across networks to improve retention and loyalty rates, as patients will be able to quickly book and reschedule appointments online and receive reminders for their appointments."
