This high dependency on government payors puts these hospitals at even greater risk of experiencing revenue pressures in the upcoming years, with or without the individual mandate in play.
After scouring through their hospital reports, Moody's analysts listed the top 20 rated hospitals and health systems within their database that have the highest combined Medicare and Medicaid business as a percentage of their gross revenue.
