10 States With the Highest Federal Marketplace Insurance Premiums

A recent HHS report has identified the states paying the highest average premiums for health insurance plans offered on the federal marketplace.

The following are the 10 states with the highest average health insurance premiums before tax credits have been applied:

1. Wyoming — $536

2. Alaska — $507

3. New Jersey — $465

4. Maine — $443

5. Mississippi — $438

6. Wisconsin — $427

7. Indiana — $424

8. West Virginia — $415

9. Louisiana — $397

10. Delaware — 3$92
