Tampa, Fla.-based St. Joseph's Hospital is working on a $126 million expansion project, according to 83 Degrees Media.
Here are three things to know.
1. The expansion project includes a six-story patient tower that is slated for completion in December 2019.
2. The project will increase the number of private patient rooms at the hospital. Upon completion, the new tower will house 90 new single-occupancy rooms.
3. The $126 million addition will also feature an upgraded main entrance and a pedestrian bridge connecting the new tower to Tampa-based St. Joseph's Women's Hospital across the street.
