Carroll, Iowa-based St. Anthony Regional Hospital has $1.8 million of renovations planned for its Denison (Iowa) Clinic, formerly known as the Crawford County Clinic.
The clinic was gifted to the hospital in June by two physicians: David Marc Tan Creti, MD, and Rose Mary Mason, MD, according to a statement from the hospital. "St. Anthony is grateful for the opportunity to continue Dr. Tan Creti and Dr. Mason's legacy in Denison for years to come," Ed Smith, president and CEO of St. Anthony, said in the statement. "The clinic renovation displays St. Anthony's investment in the community and commitment to providing quality healthcare throughout west central Iowa."
Remodeling is set to begin immediately and will take place in two phases. The first phase — the primary care clinic portion — is slated for January 2017 completion and the second phase — the specialty care clinic — is estimated to finish June 2017. The hospital plans to fully fund the project.
During renovation, services will continue at the clinic and at the Carroll Area Nursing Service.
