Austin, Texas-based Seton Healthcare Family, part of St. Louis-based Ascension, plans to build a new medical campus in Bastrop, Texas.
Here are three things to know.
1. The campus will include an emergency medicine facility with ambulatory care services, as well as a new medical office building, according to a news release.
2. In the release, Jesús Garza, Seton's president and CEO and leader of Ascension's Texas Ministry Market, said the goal with the new campus is "to provide compassionate, personalized care that’s convenient for Bastrop, Manor, Smithville and other nearby communities."
3. Seton said Ascension Texas – Seton Healthcare Family and Providence Healthcare Network in Waco, Texas, will put approximately $30 million toward project-related activities.
