Russell Regional Hospital breaks ground on physicians' clinic

Russell (Kansas) Regional Hospital broke ground on a physicians' clinic and expansion of its physical therapy services March 3, according to a Hays Post report.

Here are five things to know about the project.

1. The construction is part of RRH's "Campaign for Continuing Excellence." The campaign began in 2014 and aimed to update the hospital's facilities and add services, according to the report.

2. The physicians' clinic will have up to eight providers, as well as nurses, front office workers, billing personnel and a clinic manager.

3. Under the physical therapy expansion, 1,100 square feet of space will be added to extend physical therapy, occupation therapy, speech therapy and intermediate fitness services, the report states.

4. The previous physicians' clinic will also undergo updates and will contain specialty clinics.

5. Officials expect construction will last eight months.
