Fort Worth, Texas-based Plaza Medical Center has rebranded as Medical City Fort Worth.
The rebranding is part of a unifying brand change for Irving, Texas-based Medical City Healthcare's 13 north-Texas hospitals. Officials initially announced the changes in November 2016.
The health system's digital assets, including websites, social media and employee email addresses have been changed to reflect the new brand.
"Medical City is a trusted name with an immediately recognizable reputation for quality healthcare," said Clay Franklin, CEO of Medical City Fort Worth. "For years we have been a corporate family connected under Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). Now, the public and our patients will be able to immediately identify our expansive and unified system of care in their own communities."
