Oklahoma gets first abortion clinic in decades

A new women's health and abortion clinic has opened in Oklahoma City, reports News 9.

The $1 million Trust Women South Wind Women's Center has six physicians on staff. It will provide hormone therapy, OB/GYN care and abortions up to 21.6 weeks, among other women's health services, according to the report.

Trust Women estimates the clinic will see 1,500 to 2,000 patients in its first year.

The clinic is the first new abortion provider in Oklahoma in 40 years, according to the Associated Press. There are two other clinics in Oklahoma that provide abortions — one in Norman and another in Tulsa.
