NYU Langone Health System in New York City plans to convert a former job center into medical offices, according to a report on brooklyndaily.com.
Here are four things to know.
1. The medical offices will be located at the former Bay Ridge Job Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., according to the report.
2. The medical offices are slated to have specialty physicians as well as a radiology department.
3. "The goal is convenience," Neal Gorman, public relations director at NYU Lutheran in Brooklyn, said in the report. "Say a physician referred you to an ear, nose and throat specialist — rather than having to go trudge to another location, you'd have that specialist right there."
4. NYU Langone plans to open the medical offices later in 2017, according to the report.
