Two Harbors, Minn.-based Lake View Hospital has announced an expansion that will connect its hospital and clinic to create a combined campus, according to Business North.
The two-floor expansion will create one main entry for outpatient care, along with a public meeting area, a lab and a specialty clinic. The first phase of the project will cost $15 million; the price of the second phase, which will move surgical operations to the second floor, is unknown.
"We talked with the architect about what our future should look like and identified our needs for more services, and it’s perfect timing because we have limited space for providing the services we’d like to grow," said Greg Ruberg, Lake View Hospital president and CEO.
