Dayton, Ohio-based Kettering Health Network plans to construct a new hospital in Troy, Ohio.
Here are six things to know about the project.
1. The three-story hospital will include nearly 100,000 square feet of space.
2. The hospital will offer patients "preventative, whole-person care centered on the patient, near where they work and live," and "have a strong emphasis on innovation and outpatient services," according to KHN.
3. More specifically, the hospital's features include inpatient beds, as well as an emergency department, lab and imaging, surgery center and a medical office building.
4. KHN officials expect the hospital to create 120 new jobs, including physicians, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, imaging and lab technicians and support staff.
5. The cost estimate for the hospital is around $60 million.
6. KHN said the hospital is scheduled to be completed late next year.
