Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente opened a CareClinic at a Bartell Drugs pharmacy in Des Moines, Wash.
Residents with minor injuries and illness, or patients seeking preventive services, can access treatment at the CareClinic. The facility will offer services for patients with health insurance through Kaiser Permanente, as well as uninsured patients, who will need to pay an upfront cost of $75 per visit.
The Des Moines CareClinic will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. This is the 11th CareClinic location Kaiser Permanente and Seattle-based Bartell Drugs operate. The companies plan to open four more clinics by the end of 2017.
