Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health will open two urgent care centers this summer — one in Indianapolis July 11 and another along the border of Noblesville and Carmel, Ind., in mid-August.
Here are four things to know.
1. The urgent care center in Indianapolis is IU Health's first urgent care center inside the city's I-465 loop, while the other urgent care center site is IU Health's first urgent care center in Hamilton County.
2. The Indianapolis urgent care center will be housed in a fully remodeled former bank branch, and the Hamilton County urgent care center will be housed in the same building as an IU Health primary care clinic and rehabilitation and physical therapy offices, IU Health said.
3. IU Health's new urgent care centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
4. With the opening of the two urgent care centers, IU Health will have six urgent care centers in the Indianapolis area.
