Woodbury, N.J.-based Inspira Health Network, the Gloucester County Improvement Authority and the City of Woodbury have partnered to create a redevelopment study of Inspira's Woodbury hospital campus, according to a report on NJ.com.
The study will examine how to best use the hospital property as Inspira makes plans to move its inpatient hospital services to a new facility it wants to build in Harrison Township, N.J., according to the report.
Trustees of Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J., recently agreed to sell 100 acres of undeveloped land to Inspira for $11.5 million, enabling the health system to build a hospital just west of the university's main campus. Inspira is also planning improvements for its Woodbury campus.
As part of the redevelopment study, Inspira will spend $100,000 for independent reviews of site uses, including hiring marketing professionals and conducting market research, according to the report.
The partnership will run from June 1 through May 31, 2017. GCIA will serve as project manager for the study.
