Inspira Health Network will spend $200 million to build a 204-bed hospital in Mullica Hill, N.J.
The 350,000-square-foot hospital will contain private patient rooms, fully-equipped surgical suites, a maternity center, a large emergency department and a cardiac catheterization lab. The facility will employ about 1,400 staff members.
Woodbury, N.J.-based Inspira plans to include leading edge wireless and digital technologies in the hospital, as well as green technologies to improve energy efficiency and help lower operational costs, said John DiAngelo, president and CEO of Inspira.
Construction will start in the first quarter of 2017 and is slated for completion December 2019.
