Taylorville (Ill.) Memorial Hospital broke ground June 29 on its $60 million replacement hospital, according to a WAND News report.
The 97,000-square-foot replacement facility will be two stories and will house 25 private patient rooms. It will replace the current five-story facility, which was built in 1954.
The replacement structure will be built in two phases. The project is expected to be complete in 2021.
