Sherman, Texas-based Heritage Park Surgical Hospital will now be branded as Baylor Scott & White Health Surgical Hospital at Sherman following the hospital's July 2015 partnership with Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White Health and United Surgical Partners International, according to the Herald Democrat.
Heritage CEO Marc Devorsetz said the facility's old name was not well known, while Baylor Scott & White is recognizable in the industry. The facility offers ophthalmology, pain medicine, gastroenterology, orthopedics, gynecology and ear, nose and throat services, among others, according to the report.
