Fremont (Neb.) Health plans to open a new urgent care clinic on Jan. 30, according to a report in the Fremont Tribune.
At the clinic, nurse practitioners and physician assistants will provide walk-in patients care for minor illnesses and injuries. It will be open on evenings, weekends and holidays and is intended to supplement normal appointments with physicians as a convenient, after-hours option, according to the report.
Staff will treat illnesses and injuries such as stomachaches, headaches, minor burns, lacerations, fever, cold, flu, urinary tract infections, upper respiratory infections, bronchitis, skin rashes, sprains and strains, among other conditions.
Most insurance plans will be accepted, according to the report.
