Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican, a subsidiary system of San Francisco-based Dignity Health, opened a "neighborhood hospital" in Las Vegas as part of its joint venture with The Woodlands, Texas-based microhospital manager Emerus.
The Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican North Las Vegas Campus began accepting patients June 26. It offers 24/7 emergency and inpatient services to area patients. Laura Hennum, market CEO for Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican Neighborhood Hospitals, said the hospital will service residents in an underserved area.
The 60,000-square-foot North Las Vegas Campus is the first of four hospitals planned for the Las Vegas Valley this year through the joint venture.
