San Antonio, Texas-based CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System and The Children's Hospital of San Antonio recently celebrated the groundbreaking of the hospital's new Stone Oak pavilion, according to the Commercial Property Executive.
The Health Pavilion – Stone Oak will be a three-story facility that will provide pediatric services, family practice group services and office space for Houston-based Baylor College of Medicine physicians, according to the report.
The Children's Hospital of San Antonio Emergency Center – Stone Oak will be located on the first floor of the building, and will include a fully dedicated pediatric emergency room. The facility will also serve as a KidSTOP location, a healthcare service launched by The Children's Hospital of San Antonio in 2009 to provide young patients and anxiety-free place to having testing and outpatient procedures done, according to the report.
The new pavilion is expected to be completed next summer.
