San Antonio Regional Hospital in Upland, Calif., has opened a new $160 million tower, reports the Inland County Daily Bulletin.
Here are three things to know.
1. The four-story project expands San Antonio Regional's emergency department, according to the report. With the expansion, the unit's bed count rises from 34 to 52.
2. The expansion also created private patient areas, along with 12 new intensive care units, according to the report.
3. Additionally, the new emergency department features various imaging equipment for CAT Scans and X-rays, as well as other analytical devices such as ultra-sound, and a blood-gas analyzer, the report notes.
