Des Moines, Iowa-based Broadlawns Medical Center will open its $22 million Broadlawns Medical Plaza on March 27, The Des Moines Register reports.
Here are four things to know about the addition.
1. The 72,000-square-foot, four-story plaza will house the Broadlawns Family Health Center, the Broadlawns Outpatient Mental Health Clinic and the Broadlawns Dental Clinic.
2. The family health center will employ six family medicine physicians and the mental health center will have 11 psychiatrists, 14 mid-level providers, three psychologists and 24 therapists. The dental clinic will house 22 suites and two full-time providers.
3. "By centralizing family medicine, mental health and dental services, the Broadlawns Medical Plaza will allow for coordinated healthcare services in state-of-the-art facilities that truly attend to the overall health and well-being of our community," Jody Jenner, president and CEO of Broadlawns Medical Center, said in a statement.
4. The Broadlawns Medical Plaza represents a portion of the hospital's $60 million, five-year expansion plan, The Des Moines Register reports.
