1. Florida hospital transitions services to new $203M facility
Florida Hospital Apopka transitioned its services Wednesday morning to its new $203 million facility about 3.5 miles away.
2. Cleveland Clinic Children's to open $20M outpatient hospital in 2018
Cleveland Clinic Children's is building a $20 million, 120,000-square-foot children's outpatient clinic in the former Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Center.
3. Florida hospital receives city OK to surpass 4-story building limit
The City Commission in Stuart, Fla., unanimously approved a development agreement on Monday night that allows Martin Medical Center to expand some of its buildings above the city's four-story height limit.
4. St. Charles Health System hospital completes $16M renovation
St. Charles Madras (Ore.) hospital completed the third and final phase of a $16 million expansion and renovation Monday.
5. South Carolina hospital adds 70 beds
Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, S.C., placed the final beam on the frame of its new patient tower in November as part of a multimillion dollar renovation.
6. Ground breaks on $41M medical center honoring late Cerner CEO Neal Patterson
Construction began Sunday on a 62,500-square-foot, $41 million medical complex in Harper County, Kan., dedicated to the late Cerner CEO and co-founder Neal Patterson.
7. Lucile Packard Children's opens $1.2B flagship facility
Palo Alto, Calif.-based Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford opened its new $1.2 billion hospital Dec. 9, which will now serve as its flagship facility.
8. Infirmary Health opens $25M Alabama facility
Mobile, Ala.-based Infirmary Health opened a $25 million medical plaza in Saraland, Ala., and is already planning an expansion.
9. Pullman Regional Hospital plans $3M expansion
Pullman (Wash.) Regional Hospital is doubling same-day service rooms in a project that will expand the facility for the first time since its 2004 construction.
